Rack & Track ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application and website.

We collect the following information when you use Rack & Track:
- Account information: your display name, username, and email address when you register
- Profile information: optional profile photo and home venue
- Match data: match results, scores, and game history that you record in the app
- Device information: device type and operating system for crash reporting and compatibility
- Location: approximate location (if you choose to enable it) to suggest nearby venues
- Purchase information: subscription and in-app purchase status (processed via Apple App Store or Google Play — we do not store your payment details)
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and operate the Rack & Track service
- To display your stats, rankings, and match history
- To enable social features such as head-to-head records and rival tracking
- To send you push notifications about match requests and app updates (you can opt out at any time)
- To verify and manage your subscription status

3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only in these circumstances:
- Other users: your display name, username, profile photo, and match results are visible to other Rack & Track users as part of the app's social features
- Service providers: we use Firebase (Google) for authentication, database, and storage; RevenueCat for subscription management. These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy policies
- Legal requirements: if required by law or to protect our rights
4. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at the email below. Match records that have been confirmed by another user may be retained in anonymised form for statistical purposes.
5. Security
We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and Firebase security rules to protect your data. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Children's Privacy
Rack & Track is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Object to or restrict processing of your data
